You can cross country ski, snow shoe, ice skate and hike right from the cottage! Remember to bring you own gear, as we do not rent equipment.
World class Alpine Skiing & Boarding is just a short drive away: Mt. Mansfield in Stowe and Burke Mountain in Burke are each less than 35 miles from the cottage. Jay Peak in Jay is less than 45 miles away.
Cross Country/Nordic: Craftsbury Nordic Center and Highland Lodge are each less than 10 miles away.

Snowmobile directly from the cottage. Direct access to VAST Corridor rte 15B. Walden is located in the hills 20 miles West of St. Johnsbury. This is a snow belt area. Please call us here at the farm for current conditions.
